Kulisek / Lieske in Publishing as an Artistic Toolbox: 1989–2017, curated by Luca lo PintoKunsthalle Wien

Kulisek / Lieske is a collaborative project by German artist David Lieske and American artist and photographer
Rob Kulisek. The duo has collaborated on music as MISANTHROPE CA, and visual artwork since 2015. K

Together they edit “299 792 458 m/s,” a fashion publication and conceptual project published by Westreich Wagner. Inspired by GDR experimental fashion magazine “Sybille,” “299 792 458 m/s” directly questions our relationship to speed and perishability whilst dealing with notions such as the temporality of fashion products, the relativity of luxury and the blind spots of representations.

Exhibitions include: 299 792 458 m/s, Thea Westrich Art Advisory, New York; Hooks and Claws, curated by Alexis Vaillant, Galerie Gregor Staiger, Zurich; Publishing as an Artistic Toolbox: 1989–2017, curated by Luca Lo Pinto, Kunsthalle Wien, Vienna.
